Recycle Responsibly with Doorstep Mobile Fix

At Doorstep Mobile Fix, we are committed to the responsible recycling of end-of-life products and encourage all our customers to be an integral part of our e-waste management movement.

What is “E-Waste”?

As per the E-waste (Management) Rules, 2016, E-Waste refers to electrical and electronic equipment that is discarded in whole or part by consumers or bulk consumers, as well as rejects from manufacturing, refurbishment, and service processes.

Devices such as mobile phones, televisions, laptops, printers, and their components that have reached the end of their useful life are considered e-waste. If not managed properly, e-waste can pose serious environmental and health risks.

Where can you learn more about your E-Waste?

For any queries related to e-waste management and recycling, please contact our authorized Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) partner Karo Sambhav.

Important Do’s and Don’ts

  • Always channelize your e-waste through the collection centers established by Karo Sambhav in association with Doorstep Mobile Fix.
  • Do not dispose of e-waste in household dustbins or mix it with other municipal waste.
  • Do not attempt to dismantle electronic devices at home, as improper dismantling can be hazardous.
  • Do not sell e-waste to unauthorized agencies, scrap dealers, or informal collectors.
  • Store your non-functional or end-of-life product safely until it can be handed over for recycling to avoid accidental breakage.

Bulk Consumer Program

Our Bulk Consumer Program provides a responsible e-waste management solution for organizations such as offices, government bodies, schools, universities, hospitals, hotels, retailers, and banks. The program ensures proper collection, channelization, and recycling of e-waste generated by bulk consumers.

Waste Collector Program

This program is designed to formalize the role of waste pickers and aggregators. By joining the network, they become part of the official collection channel, ensuring transparency and accountability in e-waste handling.

Residential Welfare Associations (RWAs) Program

Through our RWAs Program, we create collection channels and conduct awareness drives within residential communities. This initiative provides individual consumers with a convenient and responsible way to dispose of their e-waste while spreading awareness about the environmental impact of improper disposal.
